I am a self taugh artist living in Wiltshire (UK) with my husband and three dogs.

The love of dogs came first, then the love of drawing and painting them. Whilst I am commissioned to paint other subjects, wildlife, aeroplanes, portraits, still life, floral and landscapes etc, I mostly get asked to paint dogs and cats. But what ever your passion is, please contact me and I would be happy to chat about recreating a piece of art for you.

With animals I work hard at capturing both their character and an artistic likeness. I use reference photos but I’m not attempting to reproduce a photographic style piece of art.

You will be able to instantly recognise the piece as being your girl or boy but with an extra artistic twist, usually with colour. Most of my projects include the use of artist quality pencils, to capture the important details, especially the eyes. Then the painting begins in acrylics and then on to oils.

Whilst I am self taught but take regular one to one classes and workshops, on specific subjects.

I also paint the occational wildlife and farm animal, as well as landscapes.
